Q What's your service like?
A Our service begins at 10:30am. A Sunday at City Lights is relaxed, friendly, and a welcoming environment where everybody is welcome! Our service typically last between 60-75 minutes. Our band will lead us in a time of worship with primarily modern music, with the occasional throwback. Our lead pastor, Peyton Wills, will teach a message with practical application that is relevant to your life while simultaneously challenging you in your day-to-day life.
Q What if I have kids?
A We love kids at City Lights! We've designed our City Kidz ministry to be hassle free for you while completely engaging for them. While you're worshipping in the auditorium, they are worshipping too. From large group time, to age specific small group time, crafts and games, you'll be assured your children are learning and having a blast!
Q What should I wear?
A Whatever makes you feel comfortable...no, seriously. Be yourself! At City Lights you'll see people dressed in their "Sunday Best" and you'll see jeans & t-shirts. You'll also see some people who are still stuck in the 90's!
Q What denomination are you?
A City Lights Church is self-governing and under no denominational control. In a lot of ways, we're non-denominational in presentation. However, City Lights has many great partnerships with area churches, associations, and denominations including: Missionary Church, Tennessee Baptist Convention, Knox County Association of Baptists, OneLife Church and The Ridge Community Church.
Q Where do you meet?
A We are located at 403 Market St. in Historic Downtown Clinton.
Q What are your beliefs?
A In one sentence, we believe that the Bible is the perfect, timeless Word of God and that everything in it is truth. Central to that is that Jesus Christ is the only way to spend eternity in heaven with God through faith by grace.
