For you, not from you

When it comes to giving, most of us want to be more generous than we currently are. But the thought of giving often seems overwhelming or even impossible. Sometimes there's even a negative connotation that "the church just wants my money" but that couldn't be any further from the truth. This is actually something we want for you, not from you!

Giving financially is a way to worship God, because it shows Him that we trust His provision in our lives. “Tithe” means ten percent, which is the portion of our income that we give to God to say thank you for all He has given us. God doesn’t need our money; He wants our trust, and trusting Him with our finances is a great way to demonstrate our dependence on Him.

Giving away 10% of your income can be a big – and often frightening – commitment! The thing is, no matter how much or how little we make, the Bible says we can take the promises of God to the bank. When we bring our first and best back to God, He promises to pour out blessings on us.

Giving financially is about training our heart to take God at His Word. We know generosity is a huge step of obedience, but you’re not in this alone. That’s why we created the 90 Day Challenge: a money-back guarantee of sorts. Essentially, it’s an agreement based on the promises of God in Malachi 3:10-11, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this… and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” We commit that if you give for 90-days and God doesn’t hold true to His promises, we will refund 100% of your tithe. No questions asked. And yes, we're serious!

A personal message from pastor peyton

I'm so grateful you're considering taking the 90 Day Generosity Challenge. Giving is an attitude of gratitude and a heart of worship, that's why Paul says "God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7). I learned that the attitude in which I give is way more important than how much I give.

My wife, Ariel and I, have seen God's faithfulness time & time again as we've given back to Him financially through the local church and I truly believe during this generosity challenge you're going to experience God's provision in extraordinary ways. Simultaneously, you need to do your part in being a good steward and financially responsible with the gifts He's given you. If you need help with a financial plan or would like to speak with someone about giving, please contact us. I'm praying for you during this challenge to receive an outpouring of God's favor and blessing as you take your next steps of giving back!
